These Terms apply to every language version of AI-4Kids.
1. Agreement
AI-4Kids (the "Service") is operated by PREPARLY LLC ("we," "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy are an agreement between us and the parent or legal guardian ("you") who uses the Service or lets a child use it. By creating an account, pre-registering or letting a child use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who can use AI-4Kids
- The Service is made for children ages 5 to 10, using it with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Accounts are opened and managed by adults 18 or older. Children do not create accounts and do not agree to these Terms; the parent agrees for them and is responsible for their use of the Service.
- You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details private. Tell us right away if you think someone else used your account.
3. Kids' safety and acceptable use
To keep AI-4Kids safe for every child, you and your children agree not to:
- Share personal information, such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, schools or photos, in any part of the Service, including Creator Studio.
- Try to get around our safety filters, ask the AI for content that is not suitable for young children, or use the Service to bully or harm anyone.
- Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the Service, or access it with automated tools.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that breaks these Terms.
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts children at risk.
4. AI features
Some features, such as Creator Studio, use artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes or produce unexpected results. We filter what goes in and what comes out, but no filter is perfect, so we encourage grown-ups to stay nearby. Please report anything inappropriate to us. AI features are for learning and play, not for advice of any kind.
5. Our content and your creations
- The Service, including its lessons, games, characters, artwork, videos, software and the AI-4Kids name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use it for your family's non-commercial learning.
- Games and other things your child makes in the Service are your family's to enjoy. Creations are saved on your device. If a future feature lets you share or save a creation with us, we will ask first, and you give us only the permission we need to store and show it to you.
- Some content uses third-party frameworks or materials with their owners' permission, as noted on the site.
6. Plans and payments
- The free plan includes a selection of lessons and games. Our catalog changes over time: lessons may be added or retired.
- Paid plans are not open yet. We plan to offer Monthly at $9 USD per month for 1 kid, Annual at $90 USD per year for 1 kid, and Family at $140 USD per year for up to 6 kids. When they open, the price, billing period, number of kids covered, renewal terms and how to cancel will be shown before you pay, and payments will be processed by our payment provider.
- A paid plan unlocks the full library for the number of kids it covers. If your family has more kids than your plan covers, the plan applies to your oldest kids first and the other kids keep the free plan.
- Paid plans will renew automatically until you cancel. You will be able to cancel at any time from the parent console; access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds will follow the terms shown at checkout and applicable law.
- If you pay through a scholarship program, such as Step Up For Students in Florida, that program's rules also apply.
7. Emails
We send account emails needed to run the Service. We send helpful and promotional emails only to parents who agreed to receive them, and every one includes a one-click unsubscribe link. See the Privacy Policy for details.
8. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep AI-4Kids available, accurate and safe, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will produce any particular learning result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, PREPARLY LLC and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50 USD. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service and delete your family's account at any time from the parent console or by contacting us. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken or if we stop offering the Service, and we will tell you when we reasonably can. What happens to your information is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and for important changes we will email parents before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the new Terms.
